Want To Play The Club Championship? Your Magic Number Is 3

At its monthly meeting on November 10, 2016, the PCGC Board approved the following:

Participation in the Club Championship is open to all members in good standing. In order to play in the Club Championship, a member must have, during the current club year, participated in at least three (3) Club tournament events prior to the Club Championship.  Exceptions may be made for special circumstances subject to a majority vote of the Board.  Exceptions will be made for any new members that during their membership has not had the opportunity to play in at least three (3) Club tournament events prior to the Club Championship.

There were a number of teams DQ'd for turning in incorrect scorecards.  It is important that players do their best to read and understand the rule sheet before you start any tournament especially for the specialty tournaments where different formats are played and different recording is required on the scorecard.  If you have any questions, you are always allowed to ask the scorer's table before you turn your card in.  Once your scorecard is turned in you have officially finished the tournament and your scorecard cannot be changed.
